Maryland Stay-At-Home Order Starts 8pm Tonight- Don’t Forget These On Your Grocery List

Just a few hours ago, it was announced that Governor Hogan issued a stay-at-home order which starts at 8 p.m. Monday, March 30th 2020. This mandate prohibits Maryland residents from making non-essential trips but allows Marylanders to make trips to essential locations like grocery stores, banks, hardware stores, pharmacies and pet stores. So even though you can take trips to the grocery store in the future, with this new mandate you may not be able to meet your essentials in time. We all have seen the grocery store madness and with so much to worry about, we want to help make sure that your grocery list isn’t one of them. Below is a list of Essential African Foods that you shouldn’t forget to add onto your emergency grocery list as you shop. All of the food items listed below are multifaceted and at least four recipes can come from each item. Each item also has a long shelf life without sacrificing good health (as they do not contain many of the unhealthy preservatives that can be found in canned foods).
